"Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow know what you truly want to become." __ Steve Jobs
We share the common bond of being in love with painting outdoors. Our stories are all unique as is our work. Alabama Plein Air Artist are from all over the state and beyond.
For over twenty years, this group of artists has met monthly to paint the beauty of Alabama en plein air. We are watercolorists, oil painters, sketchers, and more. Some have been members the entire twenty years, some only for a few months. The group has all skill levels from beginner to professional, all ages from 18 to seventies. We welcome artists to visit a members' paint out event if you think you might be interested in joining us.
Our mutual interest and love for art brings us closer as we support each other and, as we share and grow and together.
