WhatsApp is an app you load on your cell phone which allows a group to text each other and everyone can see it...which would be great if you are joining a paint-out and just need some directions or you want to see if someone wants to join you for an impromptu outdoor painting excursion. You must download the app to your phone and sign up for the conversation with your cell number.
The difference in this and a group text is you can add yourself. It is an open forum.
